Our growing community…
We spent 2023-2024 listening to folks interested in eighteenth and nineteenth-century culture and are grateful to those who moderated sessions and those who shared their thoughts, experience, and wisdom. Through listening sessions and workshops convened as part of the AHRC Research Network: “Addressing the Histories and Legacies of Empire in Literary House Museums: Dove Cottage and Beyond,” we have not only developed ideas for community building and programming but an ethics for collaborations that aims to honor all forms of expertise, share expertise and resources, and amplify the work of the Lab’s community.
Our work is based on their perspectives, practices, and recommendations.
